About this du'a
ʿĀʾishah (RA) reported that the Prophet ﷺ said to mention Allah's name before eating, and if you forget at the start, to say "Bismillāhi awwalahū wa ākhirah" (In the name of Allah at its beginning and at its end) when you remember. A small word that turns an ordinary meal into worship.
